How Can Students Use Digital Writing to Improve their Persuasion Writing?


As students progress through the years, the type of writing they do and learn changes and becomes more detailed. Students are indivduals who are learning how to influence the world around them. They do this by using persuasive essays to convince their readers to see things from a new persepctive. These essays could include social issues or promoting a product or service. These students learn the right words to use to make persuasive righting change the world. However, the world has already started a change into the digital era. 

This new generation relies heavily on digital formats when in the classroom. Students now use Chromebooks to take tests, write essays, and make presentations. The world around us has become interconnected through the digital world like no one has seen before. Jobs have been turned remote and everything is using Google docs or apps to communicate through the year. The digital world has opened up new opportunities for education. 


Having access to digital writing formats has a lot of benefits. For starters, it allows for more convince when writing. Students would not be continuously losing rough draft or final drafts. Students and Teachers can easily edit, delete or even add content without having to completely rewrite the essay. Digital writing also allows for teachers to grade easier and save time in the process. With the wide range of digital tools that students have to their disposal, they can easily customize their writing to fit the assignment at hand. Digital writing streamlines the writing process and improves productivity, which supports the article about digital rhetoric. With the increase of technology in schools, digital rhetoric is becoming increasingly important. Schools are relying on tools to portray their message more effectively. This allows for teacher to create more compelling lessons by using videos, and interactive games that can be used in the classroom. 


Digital rhetoric improves digital writing tremendously. Student who are learning to write will be able to create more compelling and effective arguments. It also allows for the students to edit their arguments easier to help make readers better understand the content.
